Jeremy James Johnson

Jeremy James Johnson, age 27, born January 15th, 1986 son of Lori Davis (Richter) and James Johnson was taken from us as a result of a car accident on September, 21st, 2013. Jeremy spent most of his youth in Sioux Falls and Harrisburg, South Dakota. He later traveled the country in his sales position. His most recent job was at Jensen Masonry as a brick tender.

Jeremy loved to try new things, meet new people but most of all loved to spend time with his family and close friends. Jeremy was loved by all who met him and he was honestly disliked by no one. Jer brought out the very best in each person he knew. He genuinely cared and wasn't afraid to show it. Outside of spending time with his family and friends, his main interests included music, playing basketball, music, all animals but in particular he loved dogs, music, writing and reading poetry and also music.

In additional to his parents, Jeremy is survived by his sister, Jamie Davis, his rock and his best friend. He is also survived by his one and only most special niece, Haleigh Davis, who meant the world to him, brothers Zachary Lovaas and Jackson Mahrt who were brothers by blood but cherished friends by choice. Jeremy has two beautiful boys, Skyler Vaden and Isaiah Hackney. Also having shared a special bond and close relationship are his aunt and uncle, Lisa and Dave Matthies and uncle Jimmy (Sheri) Davis. He shared many good times with very close cousins Chauncy "Chip", T.J., Kaleb "Rabbit", Sianna, Tristen, Taryn, Trynity, Sofia and Collin. He is also survived by his loving aunt Jeni Davis and her children (Jer's cousins) Jacob, Eliza, Lorissa. Jeremy is survived by his grandmother, Gayle Johnson, uncle Tim, aunts; Doty, Michelle and Kris and the rest of the Johnson family. Holding a special place in Jer's heart are Adam Langley, Mike Richert, Jeff Northrop, Kelly Vining and Lyndi Watters.

Jeremy has gone home to his little sister, Alexis Lovaas, grandparents, Jim and Linda Davis, grandfather, John Johnson and uncle Jeff Johnson.

Visitation with family present will be Wednesday, 5-8 PM at Barnett-Lewis Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be Thursday, 2 PM at Barnett-Lewis Funeral Home.
