Patricia "Pat" Crevier Patricia "Pat" Crevier, age 94, died peacefully at Ava's House on Sunday, August 25, 2024. Patricia Marie (Plut) Crevier was born January 13, 1930 to Joe and Chantal (Camden) Plut in Graceville, Minnesota. She grew up in Sisseton, SD where she attended Catholic Grade School and graduated from Sisseton High School. Pat married Dean R. Crevier at St. Peters Catholic Church in Sisseton, on April 18, 1949. They farmed in the Jefferson, SD area for 17 years, during which time they celebrated the births of their five children, four boys, and a daughter. In 1966 they moved to rural Sioux Falls where Dean continued farming. In 1987 they moved into the city of Sioux Falls. Dean and Pat had been married 65 years when he passed away in 2014. Over the years, Pat was employed at Augustana College (Augustana University), Younkers and Lewis Drug. Her faith, family and friends were very important to her. She found joy in her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who lovingly referred to her as “Memere” the French word for Grandma. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, positive attitude and respect and encouragement for everyone. Grateful for having shared her life are her children: Chantal “Tally” (Rod) Beeners, Jerry (special friend, Monica Cross), and Bill (Dawn) Crevier; grandchildren: Stacie (Ryan) Bechtold, Leslie Crevier, Camden (Kayla) Crevier, Michelle Beeners, Nick Crevier, Mike (Alyssa) Crevier, Chase (Megan) Crevier, and Pierce (Teddie) Crevier; great-grandchildren: Layton, Blake, Kenley, Kyler, Emma, Brodie, Sylis, and Mavrick. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean, her parents, brother, Joe Plut, sister-in-law, Rita Plut, and sons, Bob and Jim. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Ava's House for the wonderful, compassionate care Pat was given. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be designated for Ava's House. Visitation will be Friday, August 30, 9:30 AM at the Parish of St. Michael with a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM.
