Dennis G. Denevan Dennis G. Denevan, 91 of Sioux Falls, died Monday, October 21 at the Good Samaritan Village in Pipestone, MN. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys, whom he married on September 30, 1961 in Sioux Falls. Dennis also lived for a short period at the Norbertine Abbey in DePere, WI. Dennis worked for over 35 years at John Morrell as a proud union laborer. Dennis was a kind and cheerful man with smiling Irish eyes. He was always ready to whistle a tune, sing a song, or tell a joke. He experienced riches in this life by keeping faith as a husband, providing for his family, and ultimately by being “promoted” to grandfather. Dennis is survived by his two brothers: Michael and Joseph; his four children: Dion (Susan), Suzanne (Jackie), Kate, and Theresa Klumper (Jeff). He was enormously proud of his 11 grandchildren: Lori, Brandy, Kei, Ali, Ari, Jordan, Taniyah, Bryanna, Maelle, Kai, and Clara; and 12 great-grandchildren: Todd, Bailey, Tanner, Ella, Brooklyn, Kylie, Rhyatt, Grace, Oden, Liem, Jazmyn, and Levi.
