Joshua Troy Reiter, 62, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday March 22, 2025 at Ava’s Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD

Joshua was born July 7, 1962 to Leroy and Karen (Hart) Reiter in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, he grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and graduated from O’Gorman High School.

Joshua was united in marriage to Barbara Amundson on January 23, 2003. Together, they raised their nine boys.

Joshua was employed at Syverson Tile and Stone for over 20 years before he semiretired. He worked at Napa auto parts until 2025.

Joshua is survived by his wife: Barb; their nine sons: Micheal of Rochester, MN, Joseph (Pamela) of Sioux Falls, SD, Joshua of Brookings, SD, Nickolus of Sioux Falls, SD, Stephen (Jacquelyn) of Herrick, SD, David of Sioux Falls, SD, Johnathon of Sioux Falls, SD, Noah of Sioux Falls, SD, Matthew of Sioux Falls, SD; and one brother: Tony (Deb) of Sioux Falls, SD; and one sister: Jill (Donnie) of Gardner, Colorado; five grandchildren: Camron, Cashton, Mia, Talia, and Jackson; many Nieces Nephews, and multiple bonus kids throughout the years. He was preceded in death by his parents: Leroy and Karen: and brothers: Kim and Tim.

Visitation with family present will be Thursday, March 27, 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Barnett-Lewis Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be Friday, March 28, 10:30 AM at First Presbyterian Church.
