Known to everyone as Bev, she was born November 2, 1945 in Arkansas to parents Margaret and Joseph Comer. She was raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She was the youngest of 4 brothers and 1 sister: Merwyn, Robert, Gerald, Janice and Dennis.

Bev was united in Marriage with Ivor Eugene Boehrns Febuary,12,1966 in Minnesota. They made Sioux Falls their home and together they raised three children and grandchildren.

Throughout her life she worked many different jobs including Bookkeeper, waitressing, nurse’s aide and factory line. She was employed at Hy-Vee Deli until health issues forced her into retirement.

She spent her last few months residing at Bethany Lutheran Home. In hospice, by her side, were her granddaughter: Samantha King; her husband: Chris; and their children: Logan and Lundyn Carter. They were a great source of support for the last several years.

Bev leaves behind her children: Judy and Duane Grove, both of Sioux Falls; grandchildren: Ivor Grove (Sioux Falls), Terry Grove (Arkansas) and Samantha Carter (Sioux Falls), and many great-grandchildren.

Bev is preceded in death by her husband: Ivor: son: Jeffery; mother: Margaret; father: Joseph; brothers: Merwin, Robert, Gerald, and Dennis; and a sister: Janice.

No services are planned. She will be reunited with her Husband and son at a later date.

                      At Rest

Think of me, as one at rest,

For me, no need to weep,

I have no pain, no troubled thoughts,

For I am just at peace.

The living, thinking me that was,

as time forever will.

If your heart is heavy now,

because I've gone away,

To those friends who liked me,

I sincerely thank you all,

and those of you that loved me,

well, I thank you most of all,

For in my fleeting lifespan,

as time went rushing by

I found some time to hesitate,

to laugh, to love, to cry.

It matters not when time began,

or if time will ever cease

For I was here, I used it all

and now I am at peace.
