Sandra "Sandy" Kay McKittrick

Sandra "Sandy" Kay McKittrick left us suddenly on March 21, 2026. She was born March 23, 1953 to Raymond and Elaine McKittrick at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls, which would become her life-long home. For 40 plus years she was employed by Sioux Area Metro. Most recently she was employed by School Bus Inc. and very much enjoyed the children every day. Her passing was very unexpected and she will be missed by many.

She is survived by a sister: Cheryl Zeig, Campbell, MN; two step-nephews: Chris (Emily) Zeig, North Caldwell, NJ; and their daughter: Chloe and Nick Zeig, New Jersey; several cousins; and her trusted friend: Sandra Topalovich; and her dog: Mitzii Pearl; and Sandy's fur friends: Bonnie and Oreo.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Bob Zeig.

Private family services will be held.
