Gloria Jean Ristesund

Gloria Jean Ristesund, 67, passed away on December 7, 2020 in her home in Sioux Falls of natural causes. She was born in Hutchinson, Minnesota on November 13, 1953 to Ivan and Wyla (Raether) Donnay. She grew up on a small farm just south of Silver Lake, Minnesota where she attended and graduated from Silver Lake high school in 1971.

After graduation she worked at Hutch Technology until 1985 when she moved to the Twin Cities. Gloria worked in various positions in the circuit board business throughout the Minneapolis area.

Gloria married the love of her life, Todd in 1987. They moved to East Bethel, Minnesota in 1992 where her and her husband enjoyed remodeling an old HUD home in the "North woods". They relocated to Sioux Falls in 2003 where Gloria was employed by Midcontinent Communications replique rolex until her esophageal cancer diagnosis in 2019.

Gloria enjoyed traveling with her husband, various crafts, remodeling/redecorating homes, and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends

She is survived by spouse: Todd; sister: Marilyn (Ron) Field and their two sons: Jeremy (Robyn) Field and Adam Field; along with Jeremy and Robyn's two sons: Austin and Alex; in-laws: Patty Flippin, Sue Tabor, Sandy (Jerry) Callies, Randy Ristesund, Gary (Patty) Ristesund, Kim Ristesund, and Tami (Paul) Klinkhammer; and many nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents Ivan and Wyla Donnay and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
