Robert Dennis Pfaff

Robert Dennis Pfaff (77) passed away peacefully at his home on March 3rd, 2021. His journey began on the farm in Ipswich, S.D.

He lived in Waconda S.D., Aberdeen S.D., Sioux Falls S.D., Arizona, and was currently living back in Sioux Falls S.D.

Bob proudly retired from the Fire Department after 25 years of service in Aberdeen, SD. He

spent time working for Harms Oil in Aberdeen, which he talked about often. He loved driving school bus for School Bus Inc., Peace Lutheran Church, and volunteered driving bus at

Celebrate Church in Sioux Falls. Bob was a very hard worker and meticulous at everything that he did.

Bob had many things that brought joy to his life. He absolutely loved and looked forward to attending church at Celebrate Church in Sioux Falls. In his early days, he enjoyed going hunting with family and friends, going to the sale barns, and taking care of cattle was one of his many

passions. He loved going for long rides out in the country, watching the Dallas Cowboys play, attending country concerts, and going rolex replica to bull riding and rodeo events. Bob also couldn’t wait for his weekly Friday night book report studies with his friends at the Lie-brary. :)

Bob truly had a big heart for others! Helping others was very important to him. He always was there on time to lend a hand, give a ride, or just take care of anything that someone needed help with.

Bob was a jokester and enjoyed visiting with anyone. He had a lot of one-liners and enjoyed making people smile and laugh. If it was up to Bob, “Everybody would have the day off, with pay.”

Bob was preceded in death by both parents, Rueben and Viola, and his two sisters, Lynette Kircher and Jan Hoffman. He is survived by his two brothers, Rich (Kathy) Pfaff, James Pfaff, one sister, Vicki Haskins, Pamela Pfaff, mother of the three children, three children, Rob Pfaff,

Janell (Jeff) Kluin, and Troy (Sara) Pfaff, and six grandchildren, Alycia, Jesse, Jared, Taylor, Blake, and Matthew.

Visitation will be Monday, March 8th from 5-7 PM at Barnett-Lewis Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be Tuesday, March 9th at 10:30 AM at Celebrate Church.
