Agnes Ann Dyer

Agnes Ann Dyer, 84 of Sioux Falls, SD passed away peacefully on January 13, 2022. Agnes was born on June 24th, 1937; the daughter of of Nicholas and Christella (Aurit) Reiter, she was the youngest and last surviving of their eight children.

Agnes graduated from Cathedral High School. She married Bruce G. Dyer on September 1, 1956. She worked at Hinky Dinky as the Home Center Manager, and at Michael’s and Burke’s. Agnes was a loving wife and mother. She lived a life of service, with a special knack for taking care of others, especially her children and grandchildren. She loved feeding her family and was known for her caramel rolls, pies, and chocolate cake. Agnes loved the sound of the slot machines and was known to frequent a casino every now and again.

Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas and Christella Reiter, and her son Christopher (Renee) Dyer. Agnes is survived by her husband:Bruce; son: Jim (Cindy) Dyer; her daughter: Kari (Michael) Bergh; her grandchildren: Chistopher Dyer, Jessica Dyer, Cory (Kristen) Dyer, Connor Bergh, Rachel Bergh; her great-grandchildren: Porter Dyer, and Miles, Cash, Grace, and Isla Renner; and many nieces and nephews who she held near and dear to hear heart and loved them as her own.

A Memorial Service will be Friday, February 4, 2022, 10:00 AM at Barnett-Lewis Funeral Home with burial to follow at the South Dakota Veterans State Cemetery
