Anthony Richard (Tony) Machado Sunrise: September 15, 1955 – Sunset: June 23, 2024 Age: 68 Born in Patterson, California Last Residence: Wentworth, South Dakota

Tony’s Celebration of Life will be held at Pajaro Valley Golf Club, 967 Salinas Road, Royal Oaks, California on September 14, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. (PTZ) Per Tony's request, his ashes will be spread in both Sturgis, SD and Monterey Bay, CA.

Tony grew up in Watsonville, CA where he attended school and graduated. He married Mary Zuniga and from that union had two children, Aaron and Isabel. Later, Tony traveled for Simon Road Construction as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic to various states: Nebraska - Black Thunder Coal Mine, Wright, WY - Komatsu, El Paso, Texas - Power Motive, Albuquerque, New Mexico - T&R, Transformers, Inc., and Colman, South Dakota as the Lead Crew Foreman for the Relay Transformer Department.

Unfortunately, he received the news on May 20, 2023 that he had Stage 4 liver cancer. He gave it a good fight. Tony’s wife Robin, the love of his life, lived together for a wonderful 15 years - 9 years of marriage. Tony loved to dance, so they enjoyed places that provided music, especially Blues bands. His favorite pastime was riding his motorcycles with his wife, his biker friends, and his family! When Tony lived in the Black Hills he looked forward to attending the Deadwood Jam to celebrate his birthday with his Posse of friends and would dance the weekend away on the streets of Deadwood.

Tony loved all his grandchildren very much; he had a special bond with his granddaughter Princess Mia! His life on this earth made a wonderful impression on so many people who were fortunate to know him. He was a very hard worker as well as a person who would help anyone in need.
