William "Bill" John Jerentowski, 50, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2009 at Southridge Health Care Center in Sioux Falls. Bill was born on April 16, 1959 to Leslie and Virginia (Kayser) Jerentowski in Sioux Falls. Bill attended and graduated from O'Gorman High School in 1978. He was gainfully employed until entering Southridge Health Care Center due to MS in 2001. Bill was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Cathedral. When his health allowed him to, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bill's family would like to send a special thank you to David Hauck, a life long friend as well as the staff of Southridge Health Care Center, especially those who work on the East Wing Nursing Staff. Bill is survived by three sisters: Sharon (John) Weber, Sioux Falls, SD, Kathy (Steve) Brummond, Sioux Falls, SD and Debra Jerentowski, Pine, AR; one brother: John (Carolyn) Jerentowski, Ephrata, WA; sister-in-law: Nancy Jerentowski; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Steve. Visitation will be Friday, 5 PM at Barnett-Lewis Funeral Home with a Scripture Vigil at 7 PM. Funeral Service will be Saturday, 10 AM at Barnett-Lewis Funeral Home with burial to follow at St. Michael Cemetery
