Thomas “Tom” Joseph Seiler

Thomas “Tom” Joseph Seiler, 74, of Sioux Falls, SD, died Saturday, December 6, 2025 at the Dougherty Hospice House of renal cancer.

Tom was born in Aberdeen, SD to George and Josephine (Brandner) Seiler on April 24, 1951. He attended St. Joseph Cathedral and graduated from O’Gorman High School in 1969. After that, he went to Southeast Area Technical School and obtained an Electrical Communications Certificate.

Tom was employed by several technical repair shops including: Swiden Appliances, Sencore Electronics, Triangle School Supply, and Harold's Photo, repairing cameras. His final place of employment was West Mall Theaters running the video equipment.

Grateful for having shared his life are his brothers: James (Connie) Seiler, George (Jill) Seiler, both of Sioux Falls, sister: Mary (Wayne) Svoboda, Fond Du Lac, WI; sister-in-law: Mary Seiler, Omaha, NE; along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers: Dennis, Richard, SR., and Michael.

Tom was a very quiet, private man who certainly enjoyed his cars.  

A Memorial Service will be Saturday, December 20, 2025, 10:00 AM at Barnett-Lewis Funeral Home with Inurnment at St. Michael Cemetery.
