Laura Gwinn, 25, passed away in Sioux Falls, SD after a brief and sudden illness. Laura was born on August 3, 1984 to Rex and Amy (Johnson) Gwinn in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from Johnston High School in 2002 and graduated from the University of South Dakota in 2006 magna cum laude with a B.S. in Medical Technology. She was employed by Sanford Medical Center, Sioux Falls, SD as a medical technologist. Laura is survived by her parents, Rex and Amy Gwinn of Johnston, IA; a brother, Brett of Bondurant, IA; and a sister, Traci who attends Drake University. Laura touched many in her brief life and will be missed by many. May her soul find eternal peace. Funeral arrangements are pending.
