Mary Jane Bowman

Mary Jane Bowman was born March 14, 1950 to Lancelot and Clarice (Anderson) Sogn in Hudson, SD. She died February 12, 2010 at the age of 59. Mary received her education in Alcester schools. She married Gene (Bow) Bowman on September 11, 1982 in Sioux Falls, SD. She was employed at Classic Cafe for many years. She enjoyed her family, playing solitaire, and cooking. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Mary is survived by her husband, Gene Bowman; their children, Ronelle Mikusek, Jody Bowman, David (Rhonda) Scott, Tom Bowman, Dave Bowman, Amy Bowman, Troy (Juliann) Scott, Danyel Bowman, Desiree Bowman, and Justin Bowman; her siblings, Lorna (Elmer) Hammer, Beverly (Lynn) Coleman, and Darrel (Carole) Sogn. She has 21 grandchildren and 7 great-grand children. Preceding her in death is her daughter, Kimberly Rolle; sister, Marlys Larson; niece, Tristen Merriman; brother, Lance Sogn; and her parents. Visitation will be Monday, 1-8 PM with family present from 6-8 PM at Barnett-Lewis Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, 1 PM at Wesley United Methodist Church.
