Christine Kay Brenner 07-06-2010
Christine K. Brenner, 40, of Sioux Falls passed away unexpectedly in her home on July 6, 2010. Christine was born April 12th, 1970 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Alfred and Angie (Gaul) Uhrich. She attended St. Mary's elementary, and graduated from O'Gorman High School. She went on to attend college in Brookings SD, graduating from South Dakota State University.
Christine married Brian Brenner on September 11th, 1993 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She had worked in retail jewelry sales for nearly 20 years. Her main priority in life was raising her 3 children, Trever (9), Deven (7) and Ava (4).
She was proud that her children were involved in Boy Scouts, and every sport possible including soccer, baseball, basketball, flag football and the SnowFox Swim Team. On weekends, she enjoyed taking her children to the Outdoor Campus and attending classes and activities.
Christine was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, and active in her children's education at Holy Spirit Catholic School. She was active in the SFO at school, and assisted in class as she could. She and her family had recently taken a vacation to Orlando attending Disney World, Sea World, and watched a landing of the space shuttle.
She is survived by her husband, and 3 children; mother and father: Alfred and Angela Uhrich of Sioux Falls; grandfather: Gilbert Uhrich of Parkston, SD: two brothers: Steve Uhrich of Chehalis WA, and Robert Uhrich of San Diego, CA.
In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to Holy Spirit Catholic School.
Visitation will be Friday, 5 PM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with a Scripture Vigil at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, 10 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
