Dorothy E. Jenneman, 91, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2010 at Good Samaritan Luther Manor in Sioux Falls. She was born on November 15, 1918 near Monroe, South Dakota to George and Mary Mehlbrech. Dorothy was united in marriage to Robert D. Jenneman on September 6, 1940 in Harrington, Nebraska. They moved to Sioux Falls in 1941 where Dorothy was a housekeeper for Bethany Lutheran Home for more than 25 years. Dorothy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed dearly. Dorothy was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral. She enjoyed baking for her friends and her family. Dorothy is survived by two sons: Robert Charles and Dennis Dean, both of Sioux Falls, a daughter: Sharon (Robert) Fonder, Las Vegas, NV four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brother: Arthur Mehlbrech and three sisters: Ethel Bartling, Louise Miller and Mildred Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert D. and a brother, Orville Mehlbrech. Visitation will be Monday, 7-8 PM at Barnett-Lewis Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, 1 PM at St. Joseph Cathedral with burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Salem, SD.
