Meagan San Miguel
10-02-2010

On December 3, 2010, Meagan San Miguel woke up in heaven. Meagan Aylene San Miguel (McGeeney) was born on September 26th, 1976, in Denver Colorado to Liz Norris. Meagan was the second oldest child in a family of five with her sister Melissia, brothers Aaron, Dillon, and Timmy. When Meagan was five her family moved to Sioux Falls were she attended school. In 1996 she married Ezekiel San Miguel and started a family. They have two children, Enrique (14) and Isabella (11) and lived in Sioux Falls until 2003 when they bought a house in Tea, South Dakota. Meagan spent a lot of her time making her house a home for her family where everything had to be just right. She tore up floors, painted walls, hung pictures and moved things around a hundred times before she found just the right place for everything. Meagan worked various jobs until going to work at UPS where she made some very good friends. She enjoyed working there until 2006 when she became a stay at home mom. Once Meagan decided to stay at home with her children, she put all her effort into it. You would find her dropping kids off or picking them up at school, taking them to football practice, piano lessons, track meets, and softball games. She enjoyed being there for her kids and going to all their activities. Meagan was very proud of her children and loved them very much, they were her life. She raised her children with love, praise, and continuous pride. Meagan enjoyed cooking, baking, watching football, and spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed caring for her family and friends, and put others needs before her own. Meagan always gave anyone in need a ride, whether it was to home, school, or afterwards to sports practice. She was a great mother, wife, sister, daughter, niece, aunt and friend; always willing to help anyone in need. She loved people for who they were and never judged them. Meagan will be greatly missed by many. It is truly a loss for all who shared her life. Those grateful to have been in her life are her husband Ezekiel, her children Enrique and Isabella, mother Liz Norris, sister Melissia Trainor, mother-in-law Susan San Miguel from Sioux Falls, Uncle Dan and Aunt Diana McGeeney (Colorado), Uncle Pat McGeeney (Colorado), brother-in-laws, Fredrico and Ernesto San Miguel, nieces Adriana San Miguel and Erin Trainor and nephews, Phillip San Miguel and Kalub Trainor, special friends, Jeff and Cathy Kellogg and family, Mike and Maria McKnight and family, Ron and Sherri Morris and family, Kimberly and Madison Johnson and family, Jill Kaiser and family, Arneson family and many more family and friends.
