Angela Marie Haley

Angela "Angie" Marie Haley passed away February 9, 2011 at the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD. She was born on April 27, 1957 in Sioux Falls. She attended Hope and Hollister Schools in Sioux Falls. In March of 1966, Angie moved to the Developmental Center in Redfield, SD where she was loved and cared for by their wonderful staff. In November of 2010, Angie moved to the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls. Their kind and gentle staff grew to love her. Angie had a sweet and childlike heart. She enjoyed spending time with family, going for rides in the car, and being outside. Some of her hobbies were music, dancing, swimming and collecting stuffed animals. She was energetic, creative and clever. Angie is survived by her parents: Ray and Bev Haley; sisters: Laurie and Sharon Haley; brother: Vince Haley; godparents: Marian and Benny Aulner; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Eugene and Ruby Haley; Earl and Marcella Hicks; a special aunt and uncle: Katherine and Tharald Lynn; and an uncle: Patrick Haley. Visitation will be Friday, 5 PM at Barnett-Lewis Funeral Home with a Scripture Vigil at 7 PM followed by the Rosary. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, 11 AM at St. Lambert Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
