Ida Jane Oaks, 90, passed away February 4, 2011 Scottsdale, Arizona. Ida was born on October 17, 1920 to Cliff and Grace (Martin) Oaks in Hartford, South Dakota. She attended and graduated from Hartford High School in 1938. She then attended Nettleton College. Ida Jane moved to Riverside, California where she was employed by the County of Riverside as a Court Clerk for over twenty years until retirement. She then moved to Scottsdale, Arizona to be with her family. Memorials may be directed to the Televised Mass. Ida Jane is survived by her sisters: Cynthia Person, Sioux Falls, SD, and Mary Lou Kanalos, Scottsdale, AZ; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters WyVonne Connolly and Juanita Oaks. Visitation will begin 12 noon on Friday with a Memorial Service at 1 PM with burial to follow at the Hartford City Cemetery.
