Irene Huebl

Irene K. Huebl passed away on Wednesday, December 26 in Sioux Falls SD.

She was born on March 5, 1912 in White Lake, SD to John and Susie (Krell) Huebl.

She attended school in White Lake and graduated from USD in Vermillion, SD before moving to Omaha, NE where she worked for the Corps of Engineers for almost 30 years.

In 1979, she came to Sioux Falls to be closer to her sister Adeline. In retirement, Irene enjoyed playing cards with friends, doing needlework and watching baseball on TV. Her favorite team was the Minnesota Twins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Adeline Huebl. She is survived by cousins: Larry Krell, Anthon, IA, Pat Krell, Omaha NE, and Dorothy Schuman, White Lake SD; and a special friend: Betty Hauglin. She will be missed by all.

A Graveside Service will be Saturday, 10:30 at St. Michael Cemetery.
