Susan Marie Smith, 50, died January 31, 2008 at her home after a long battle with Huntington's Disease. Susan was born August 28, 1957 to Dale and Margaret Bailey in Tyndal, South Dakota. Susan was in high school when her mother passed away, she later moved to Sioux Falls in 1978. She was diagnosis with Huntington's Disease in 1996. On August 25, 1979, she was united in marriage to John Leo Smith. Susan was a member of Christ the King Church. Susan is survived by her husband: John; brothers: Scott Bailey and Dave Bailey; sisters: Jane Bailey and Patty Zaugg. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: John Bailey and Terry Bailey; sister: Nancy Bailey and an infant daughter. Visitation will be Wednesday, 4 PM at Barnett-Lewis Funeral Home with a Scripture Vigil at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, 10 Am at Christ the King Church.
