Darwin "Jerry" Allen Dump, 75 of Brandon, SD passed away May 16, 2008 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. He was born on October 15, 1932 to Emmell and Syble (Hayes) in their family home in Sioux Falls. He attended school in Sioux Falls. Darwin was drafted into the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Donna Minifie on December 7, 1972 in California. He was a butcher for many years and was a member of the United Butchers Union. Darwin is survived by his wife: Donna, Brandon; children: Jeff Cox, Albert Lee, MN, Kenneth (Cheryl Hasche) Cox, Leavenworth, KS; Kimber Lee (Curt) Lattier, Rockford, IL, Desi Wilson, Brandon, OR; brothers: Tom (Shirley) Hayes, Webster, SD and Jim "Dean" (Clare) Hayes, Sioux Falls, SD; sister: Sandra (Jan) Aichle, Valley Springs, SD; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Robin Dump and William H. Hayes and daughter: Lanny Taylor. Visitation will begin at 11 AM at Barnett-Lewis Funeral Home with family present at 12 PM with a Memorial Service at 1 PM.
